16th Annual Turning Point Parade

Schuylerville, NY
August 1, 2010

Article by: Compatriot Duane Booth

What a beautiful day to commemorate the "Turning Point of the Revolutionary War" 233 years ago with the American victory over the British in October 1777.

The parade idea was borne 16 years ago to help us remember the importance of the two battles which gave our forefathers hope that they could rid themselves of King George's tyranny and found France supporting their cause with much needed cash. Our chapter has been participating since 2001 and the Walloomsac Battle Chapter has joined us each of the last 3 years.
