The Saratoga Battle Chapter won the right to hold the coveted Addams Cup for the upcoming year at the Society's Annual Meeting which was held at the Beech's Resort in Rome, NY on May 13, 2006. Our Chapter edged out the Newtown Battle with 12 applications approved vs. 11 for Newtown Battle. Chapter Registrar Booth noted that the award was possible because members Dennis Marr, Rick Saunders and Harry Taylor each sponsored new members during 2005. Without their effort we would have lost out to Newtown Battle. Along with the cup we earned a $500 check. A hearty "thank you" to the contributing members and "congratulations" to our Chapter!

The Saratoga Battle Chapter is now the largest chapter in the Empire State Society with 150 members.
